GRANITE MOUNTAIN continues to add to its already impressive cast. In addition to the already cast Josh Brolin, Miles Teller, Jeff Bridges, and Jennifer Connelly, the firefighter drama has now booked Alex Russell.
The film follows the Granite Mountain Hotshots, a group of firefighters that faced one of the deadliest wildfires in history in order to save an Arizona town, resulting in the tragic death of 19 crew members.
The film, originally titled No Exit, is being directed by Joseph Kosinski.
Black Label is financing the film with Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Erik Howsam, Conde Nast Entertainment’s Jeremy Steckler and Dawn Ostroff, Mike Menchel, Black Lable’s Molly Smith, Trent Luckinbill and Thad Luckinbill are producing the film.
Russell is best known for starring in Chronicle and next stars with Greg McLean’s Jungle with Daniel Radcliffe.
