Greg Grunberg has a role in J.J. Abrams STAR WARS EPISODE VII. The actor confirmed via Twitter that he will appear in the movie, although his role has not yet been revealed. Also under wraps are the plot details of the film, which was written by Abrams, Lawrence Kasdan, and Michael Arndt. We do know, however, that Grunberg joins a long list of cast members, including returning franchise stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Harrison Ford, as well as fellow newcomers Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie, and Adam Driver.
Grunberg is a frequent face in Abrams’ projects; he had regular roles on “Felicity” and “Alias,” a guest starring spot in the pilot of “Lost,” and bit parts in “Super 8” and “Star Trek.” To the general public, however, he is probably best known for his role as policeman and telepath Matt Parkman on “Heroes.” This season, he also had a recurring role on “Masters of Sex.” Coming up, he’ll appear alongside frequent Joss Whedon collaborator Amy Acker in the comedy “Let’s Kill Ward’s Wife.”
