Daniel Sunjata, most well known for playing “Franco” on the Dennis Leary-starring series “Rescue Me” has signed on for a starring role in the upcoming Christopher Nolan-helmed Batman film THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. While no roles have yet to be specified, Sunjata is rumored to play an “important character to the story”. Sunjata, who was most recently seen in “Ghosts of Girlfriends Past” and “The Devil Wears Prada” before that also has the upcoming crime comedy “One for the Money” set to release later this year. With the ‘Rescue Me’ series coming to an end, Sunjata, who has also been popping up in guest-starring roles across the small screen, will look to navigate his way back to the big screen.
