Gwyneth Paltrow, Jake Gyllenhaal and Mila Kunis are in talks to star in Lionsgate’s HAPPYTIME MURDERS. The Todd Berger-scripted comedy thriller takes place in a world where humans and puppets coexist, with the puppets viewed as second-class citizens. When someone begins killing off the former puppet cast of an 80’s TV series, it’s up to one disgraced LAPD detective-turned-private eye puppet to kick his drinking habit and reteam with his former human partner, to solve the case.
Brian Henson will direct and produce with Lisa Henson and Jason Lust.
