Halston Sage Gets “Goosebumps” About Her Next Project

“Neighbors” and “Grown Ups 2” star is joining Jack Black in the highly anticipated movie.

While not necessarily based off of any one book in the popular “Goosebumps” series, the film will follow a young boy who moves into to a new home with his family and discovers that his neighbor is R.L Stine himself, and must team up with him to defeat a pack of Stine’s own monsters escaped from his imagination.

Sage has also starred in multiple Nickelodeon series, including “Victorious” and “How to Rock,” making her a recognizable face to the teen and family audiences that “Goosebumps” will attract. She also has a recurring role in the NBC series “Crisis.” In addition to “Goosebumps,” Sage has also been signed on to star in comedy horror project, “Scouts vs. Zombies” alongside Tye Sheridan and Patrick Schwarzenegger.

“Goosebumps” will be directed by Rob Letterman and is scheduled for release on March 23rd, 2016. No doubt fans of the books will be excited to see it come to life on the big screen. The “Goosebumps” book series was and still is massively popular among young readers. There have been over 300 million copies of the books sold, and they have been translated into thirty two languages.
