Hayley Atwell will replace Gemma Arterton in the biopic CLOSE ENOUGH (formerly CAPA).
The project follows the life of war photographer Robert Capa and his relationship during the Spanish Civil War with fellow photographer Gerda Taro. Tom Hiddleston is on board to star as Capa with Atwell taking Arterton’s role of Taro. Paul Andrew Williams will direct from a script written by Menno Meyjes.
Hunt Lowry and Andras Hamori will produce for H2O Motion Pictures.
Atwell made her biggest splash as Peggy Carter opposite Chris Evans in “Captain America” and most recently appeared in the British crime pic “The Sweeney”. Next up for the actess is the Jimi Hendrix biopic “All Is By My Side”.
She is repped by CAA and Hamilton Hodell.
