Action/thriller spec CLANDESTINE is now in with some heavy hitters. The Kat Wood and Marco Van Belle script centers on a legendary spy turned CIA instructor who must go back into the field to hunt down his own student – the agency’s most deadly new operative – after the young spy goes rogue on his first mission. The script is on the market from Zero Gravity Management’s Jeff Belkin and Benderspink, Original and Mad Chance are taking most major and mini territories.
Wood and Van Belle worked together on the short fantasy/drama “Mr. Bojagi” about a mysterious man with a mind reading machine. Van Belle directed the London Independent Film Festival winner from a script written by Wood. While the duo are relatively new to the spec game, this script seems to have a solid foundation that they’ll be able to build on. Stay tuned!
