Hot new sci-fi thriller spec VISION hit the town last night and is already into some impressive territories. Scripted by in-demand genre scribes Alex Pastor and David Pastor, the project is being pitched as a grounded sic-fi thriller in the vein of Minority Report.

WME, who reps the duo, is confirmed to be taking the project into studios today. I can now confirm that J.J. Abrams’ shingle Bad Robot has taken the script into Paramount per their first-look feature development deal with the studio, with David Goyer’s banner Phantom Four bringing the project into Warner Bros as a part of their first-look deal.

The duo previously wrote the upcoming Ryan Reynolds/Ben Kingsley sci-fi thriller Selfless, the Julia Stiles/Scott Speedman supernatural horror Out Of The Dark, and the sci-fi horror/thriller Carriers, which starred Chris Pine. They’re next set to pen the sci-fi adaptation How It Was When the Past Went Away and direct Imogen Poots, Bill Paxton, and Melissa Leo in the thriller  Strange But True.

The duo are repped by Allysa Bauer, Ryan Feldman, and Stuart Manashil at WME and Alex Lerner at Kaplan/Perrone Entertainment.

Spec is now into:
Bad Robot into Paramount
Phantom Four into Warner Bros.
