DODGE, the newest spec out from scribe Scott Wascha, is gaining more traction as it goes in to new territories. Plot details for the action script are currently being kept kept under wraps, but it’s being described as Snatch with X-Men-like elements told in a new, exciting, genre-bending voice. The spec first went out the other night from Charles Ferraro and Peter Dodd at UTA and Brooklyn Weaver at Energy Entertainment. Currently, the project is into Fox, Lionsgate, New Line, Focus Features, Sony, and Universal.
Wascha got his start out in televsion, working on series like Clean Sweep and Rollergirls. And how he has been heating up the spec market with a number of exciting projects, all of which are getting lot of buzz around town.
