Eric Bana is on board to star in the upcoming horror pic BEWARE THE NIGHT.
Re-written and directed by Scott Derrickson (coming off this year’s spook film “Sinister”), the project is set in a paranormal world where a New York police officer investigates supernatural events and occurrences including possessions, demons and werewolves. Aussie thesp Bana will star as the officer at the center of the supernatural activity.
Jerry Bruckheimer will produce through his banner.
Having previously starred in “Black Hawk Down”, “Munich” and “Funny People”, Bana was last seen in 2011’s “Hanna”. His films “Deadfall” and “Closed Circuit” are currently awaiting release and he is in production on Peter Berg’s war pic “Lone Survivor”.
