Henry Thomas, (E.T., Sons of Liberty), and Lulu Wilson (Deliver Us From Evil) have joined the cast of OUIJA 2, the sequel to the 2014 microbudget hit. Thomas and Wilson join Annalise Basso and Elizabeth Reaser for the follow up inspired by Hasbro’s infamous board game. Oculus director Mike Flanagan will take the helm and pen the script with Jeff Howard (I Know What You Did Last Summer) for the Universal, Blumhouse, Platinum Dunes and Hasbro production.
Thomas is most notable for his role as Elliott in E.T. The story goes that he won the part in the room in an improv session, where he cried and eventually brought everyone watching to tears. Spielberg told him right then, “OK, kid, you got the part.”
Ouija 2 is slated for an October, 2016 release.
Thomas is repped by Nate Steadman at The Gersh Agency and Colton Gramm at Brillstein Entertainment.
Wilson is repped by Paradigm and Marilyn Zitner Management.
