Holly Hunter has signed on to join Kim Basinger and Rose McGowan in the upcoming crime drama FORTUNE from director Clark Johnson. The project, which is pitched as a darky and grimy look at the underbelly of Las Vegas, takes place after a tragic death on the Las Vegas strip puts in motion the collision of several different lives: a small time hustler, feuding sisters, and a woman on the run from the FBI — all of whom are trying to make their fortunes in the city of sin.
Hunter, who was the star of the TNT series “Saving Grace”, is adding new projects to her slate as she looks to segue back into film. She currently has two films in development – “Frost Flowers” and the upcoming untitled Thin Lizzy frontman biopic, “Lynott”, and is on several short lists for new TV work.
Hunter is repped by ICM and Management 360.
