Corey Stoll is in talks to join Marvel’s superhero flick ANT-MAN. The specific plot details are being kept under wraps but the story will center on Ant-Man, (alias Hank Pym) a superhero who has the ability to shrink himself down to microscopic size. In the comic series, he also gains the ability to control ants.
Stoll would join a long list of stars already attached to the project including Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas (as Pym), and Michael Pena. Edgar Wright, of “Shaun of the Dead” and “Hot Fuzz” fame, is signed on to direct, write and co-produce the project.
Stoll is a series regular on Netflix’s “House of Cards,” playing Peter Russo, a troubled politician. He has also acted in “Midnight in Paris,” “The Bourne Legacy,” and “Salt.”
