Hugh Bonneville has been cast in the lead role of Paul King’s PADDINGTON BEAR.
Based on Michael Bond’s children’s book, the film centers on a talking bear that is adopted by a London family after they find him abandoned at Paddington Station. David Heyman will produce.
Bonneville, who stars on “Downton Abbey”, last appeared in the 2011 film “Burke and Hare” and will next be seen in Elaine Wickham’s drama “Lollipop”.
He is repped by UTA and Gordon and French.
