Idina Menzel To Star In “Beaches” Remake At Lifetime

Frozen star Idina Menzel is about to feel the wind beneath her wings in the upcoming remake of the 1988 drama Beaches. Lifetime has greenlit a contemporary version of the Garry Marshall-directed film for television and the Tony Award-winning actress is set to play CC, the role originated by Bette Midler.
