Anthony Byrne’s thriller IN DARKNESS has added Emily Ratajkowski to the cast. She joins Natalie Dormer, Ed Skrein, and Stacy Martin in a script Byrne’s co-wrote with Dormer.
The picture is a psychological revenge thriller about a blind musician who gets pulled into London’s dark underbelly after she hears a murder committed in the apartment above her. Dormer is set for the lead, Sophia, and Ratajkowski takes on the role of Veronique, the daughter of the antagonist, Radic.
42’s Ben Pugh and Josh Varney produce with Byrne. Rory Aitken and Josh Horsfield executive produce. UTA is handling domestic sales while XYZ Films handles international rights.
Ratajkowski has previously appeared in David Fincher’s Gone Girl, the Entourage movie, and opposite Zac Efron in We Are Your Friends. Ratajkowski jump-started her career after being featured in Robin Thicke’s music video for “Blurred Lines”.
