J. Mills Goodloe is adapting Nicola Yoon’s upcoming young adult novel, EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING. MGM has nabbed the rights to the book before it hits shelves on September 1st. Alloy Entertainment repped the book during the deal and Alloy’s Les Morgenstein and Elysa Dutton will now produce.
The book follows 17-year-old Maddy, a girl who is trapped in her home due to extreme allergies. She sees no one but her mother and her nurse until a boy named Olly moves in next door, and then teenage romance ensues.
The project is in good hands with Goodloe, who has experience taking romance novels to the big screen with Nicholas Sparks’ The Best of Me. He also scripted the recent Age of Adeline with Blake Lively and the upcoming romance, The Mountain Between Us, with Rosamund Pike. He is repped by UTA.
