Jackie Earle Haley has been cast in the upcoming Focus Features and Millenium Films sequel LONDON HAS FALLEN. The action sequel, directed by Babak Najafi, centers on Secret Service agent Mike Banning and the President of the United States who must work together to thwart a terrorist attack in London on the day of the Prime Minster’s funeral. Haley has been cast as Deputy Chief Mason. He joins Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart, Morgan Freeman, Melissa Leo, Angela Bassett, and Radha Mitchell in the project.
Haley has had a long and varied career, appearing in projects like the original Bad News Bears, Todd Field’s drama Little Children, Zack Snyder’s Watchmen, and Tim Burton’s Dark Shadows, just to name a few. Haley most recently appeared in José Padilha’s RoboCop and will both direct and star in the upcoming crime thriller Criminal Activities.
