Based on Dave Bidini’s novel “Baseballissimo”, the film follows a family that travels to Nettuno, the baseball capital of Italy. The script was co-written by Jay Baruchel and Jesse Chabot. David Miller is producing, while Bidini and Geddy Lee executive produce.
Tierney most recently appeared in Rafael Ouellet’s “Camion” and Kevin Tierney’s “French Immersion: C’est la Faute a Trudeau.” The last pic he helmed was 2011’s thriller “Good Neighbors” which he adapted from Chrystine Brouillet’s novel “Chere Voisine.” Tierney is repped by Gary Goddard Agency.
