Writer joins the long list of writers for James Cameron’s upcoming FANTASTIC VOYAGE. He’s in good company, among his fellow writers are the original “Fantastic Voyage” writers Jerome Bixby and Harry Kleiner, as well as “National Treasure” writing team Cormac and Marianne Wibberley. The remake follows a team of scientists who are miniaturized and injected into the body of a dying scientist in order to save him from a deadly blood clot.

Goyer has some impressive credits to his name, including TV series “Flashforward” and “Da Vinci’s Demons” as well as “The Dark Knight” and “Man of Steel.” There’s no sign that he’s slowing down, either, with scripts for “Batman vs. Superman,” “The Invisible Man” and “Justice League” all in the works.

The project will be directed by “Real Steel” helmer Shawn Levy with James Cameron producing under his Lightstorm Entertainment banner.
