James Corden Set For “Peter Rabbit” Along With Daisy Ridley, Rose Byrne, & Elizabeth Debicki

Sony’s has officially landed as the voice of the titular character in PETER RABBIT. The live-action/animated adaptation of Beatrix Potter’s children’s classic has also announced that will be playing the live-action role of Bea and that and will be lending their voice to the feature.

Directed by Will Gluck, the film is said to be a modern interpretation of the stories with Peter Rabbit, a mischievous rabbit familiar to many by his periwinkle blue jacket, sneaking into Mr. McGregor’s garden, who is adamantly trying to keep his space decidedly rabbit-free. Rob Lieber wrote the with revisions from Gluck.

Production is set to start at the Syndey-based animated VFX Animal Logic, which also worked on The LEGO Movie. The movie is slated for an April 2018 release date.

The Tracking Board broke the news that Gluck would produce the film under his Oliver Bridge Entertainment banner last year. Zareh Nalbandian of Animal Logic Entertainment is also set to produce.
