Jamie Foxx In Talks To Join Edgar Wright’s “Baby Driver”

is in negotiations to join Edgar Wright’s forthcoming action/crime pic . Foxx stars opposite Ansel Elgort, whose casting Tracking Board exclusively announced, and Lily James. Elgort stars as a young, music-obsessed getaway driver who becomes coerced into working with a crime boss, and finds himself on the run when a goes sour.

Wright will write and direct, with Working Title’s Eric Fellner and Tim Bevan producing, along with Big Talk Productions’ Nira Park. The current release date is tentatively set for March 17th, 2017.

Foxx, who most recently appeared in Sony’s Annie remake and lent his voice to Fox’s Rio 2, just completed filming on Baran Bo Odar’s Sleepless Nights, in which he stars as a cop who utilizes his criminal connection to search for his kidnapped son.
