Jason Clarke And Ben Whishaw Order A Plate Of “The Lobster”

, , Léa Seydoux and Olivia Colman have joined Yorgos Lanthimos’ THE LOBSTER.

The film is set in a future where single people must find a mate in 45 days or risk being turned into an animal. With this in mind, a man and woman start a forbidden romance in the woods outside of their city. There’s no word on what roles each actor will take.

Lanthimos is producing with Lee Magiday, Ed Guiney and Ceci Dempsey from a he wrote with Efthimis Filippou.

The past year has seen Clarke star in “Lawless”, “Zero Dark Thirty”, “The Great Gatsby” and “White House Down.”

Whishaw starred as Q in “Skyfall” and will next be seen in “The Zero Theorem.”

Seydoux appeared in “Inglourious Basterds”, “Midnight in Paris” and “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol” but has most recently garnered the public’s attention for her performance in “Blue is the Warmest Color.” She is repped by along with Whishaw and Clarke.

Colman recently starred in “Hyde Park on Hudson” and “I Give it a Year” and will next be seen in “Cuban Fury.” She is with .
