Screenwriter Jason Fuchs has been brought on board to pen the sci-fi action film LUNA PARK. The film is being developed by Tom Cruise and Doug Liman for Paramount and Skydance as a potential starring vehicle for Cruise.
The story centers on a renegade group of former space employees, led by an Eastern European woman. The rebels travel the world, stealing space equipment in an attempt to go back to the moon to acquire a powerful energy source. The last item to steal–or in this case, kidnap–is an ex-NASA employee.
Cruise announced he was reteaming with Liman back in September. Bradley Cooper, Chris Evans, and Andrew Garfield have all circled the role since it was initially put into development back in 2009.
Fuchs previously wrote this summer’s Pan for Joe Wright and signed on to write Wonder Woman for DC–the first superhero film with a solo female lead.
He is repped by WME and Brookside Artist Management.
