Jason Schwartzman has joined Tim Burton’s drama BIG EYES.
The film is based on the true story of painter Margaret Keane and her husband, Walter, and the debate following their divorce as to who actually painted her pictures. Christoph Waltz star as the embattled couple with Krysten Ritter and Danny Huston also appearing. Schwartzman will play a San Francisco-based art gallery owner.
Scott Alexander, Larry Karaszewski and Lynette Howell will produce.
Schwartzman, a frequent Wes Anderson collaborator, was last in Anderson’s film “Moonrise Kingdom” as well as “A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III”.
He will next appear in the Disney pic “Saving Mr. Banks” as well as “The Grand Budapest Hotel” (yet another Anderson film) and is repped by WME.
