Jason Schwartzman ‘Grandfathered’ Into “The Grand Budapest Hotel”

In a move that should surprise no one, has joined the cast of directed by Wes Anderson.

Story is kept under wraps but will be a European story drawing from Anderson’s own experiences living in France. No word on what role Schwartzman will be playing but he joins the ranks of Owen Wilson, Jude Law and Angela Lansbury.

Wes Anderson, Steven M. Rales and Scott Rudin will be producing.

Schwartzan, currently best known for his HBO show “Bored to Death”, has recently starred in “Moonrise Kingdom” (also by Anderson), and Edgar Wright’s “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World”. Next on his slate is historical drama “Saving Mr. Banks” and drama “A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III”, just awaiting release.
