Jaume Collet-Serra has signed on to helm THE COMMUTER. The film has Liam Neeson attached to star. The two previously worked together on Non-Stop and Run All Night.
The thriller follows Neeson as an unassuming New York City accountant who is suddenly forced to track down and identify a murder witness onboard a crowded commuter train, or else his wife and daughter will be murdered.
Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman are producing through their shingle The Picture Company along with Studiocanal. Lionsgate is distributing in the US.
Collet-Serra’s next project is The Shallows. It follows a young woman who is stranded alone on a buoy with a great white shark circling the waters between her and the shore.
He is repped by CAA and Management 360.
