British newcomer Jeremy Irvine and veteran Helena Bonham Carter are in talks to join Mike Newell’s feature adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic novel, GREAT EXPECTATIONS. The project is being penned by Rowan Joffe, which follows the orphan, Pip (Irvine) across thirty years, as he encounters characters like escaped convict Magwitch and the shut-away, Miss Havisham (Carter), while falling for his adopted sister, Estella. Irvine was handpicked by Stephen Speilberg to star in his upcoming WWI drama, “War Horse.”
Irvine is repped by CAA. Carter is repped by WME and Magnolia Entertainment.
