In a recent move towards the expansion of scripted television, Spike TV has put the Jerry Bruckheimer drama HARVEST into development. The series will mark the cable network’s first collaboration with a major studio. The series was originally set up at A&E in 2013, and follows a caretaker that is threatened when his criminal father comes back into his life.
The network is set to return to scripted television for the first time in eight years with the upcoming mini-series Tut. Ian Sobel and Matt Morgan have written the pilot. The two currently write the Syfy series 12 Monkeys.
