Jessica Alba will be joining Hailee Steinfeld and Samuel L. Jackson in Kyle Newman’s BARELY LETHAL.
Steinfeld stars as a 17-year-old international assassin who yearns for a “normal” adolescence, prompting her to fake her own death and enroll as a senior in a suburban high school. Jackson plays her mentor while Alba will play a villainous assassin hunting Steinfeld down.
Ted Hartley, Vanessa Coifman, Sukee Chew, Brett Ratner and John Cheng will produce.
Alba will continue collaborating with Robert Rodriguez, who directed her in “Sin City”, “Machete” and “Spy Kids: All the Time in the World in 4D.” She will next be appearing in his films “Machete Kills” and “Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.”
She is repped by CAA.
