Model Jessica Gomes has been cast in Alcon Entertainment’s comedy BASTARDS. Owen Wilson and Ed Helms star as two men who, after discovering that their mother lied to them about their father’s death, hit the road to find their real dad. Gomes will play the love interest to Wilson’s character.
J.K. Simmons and Terry Bradshaw star as potential paternal candidates that the boys meet along the way. Glenn Close, Katt Williams, and Ving Rhames also star.
Bastards is the directorial debut of The Hangover series cinematographer Larry Sher, who will helm from a script by Justin Malen. Principal Photography has already started, with a release date set for Nov. 4th, 2016. Warner Bros. will distribute the film per Alcon’s output deal.
Gomes is an Australian model who’s appeared in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue since 2008. Her films credits include Transformers: Age of Extinction and a brief spot on NBC’s Chuck. Up next, she’ll appear in Voltage pictures’ untitled detective action/comedy, which stars Bruce Willis, Jason Momoa, Thomas Middleditch, Famke Janssen, and John Goodman.
She’s managed by Susan Yoo.
