The forthcoming DreamWorks animated feature BOSS BABY has added a some all-star names to their roster including Jimmy Kimmel, Lisa Kudrow, and Patton Oswalt. Steve Buscemi and Miles Bakshi have also signed on for the family comedy.
Madagascar director Tom McGrath is set to direct the movie inspired by the award-winning picture book by Marla Frazee about a baby that quickly becomes the boss of the family. The story follows a seven-year-old who is determined to win back the love of his parents after a new bossy baby comes into their lives. While trying to determine who should get the most attention, they discover a secret plot and must work together to save their parents and the world.
The movie will star Alec Baldwin as the titular baby and will be produced by Ramsey Ann Naito. Baby Mama scribe Michael McCullers penned the screenplay.
In addition to hosting his late night show, Kimmel recently appeared in Ted 2 as himself and will appear in the forthcoming The Heyday of The Insensitive Bastards. He is repped by Dixon Talent.
Kudrow reprised her role in Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising starring Seth Rogen and Zac Efron. She will also appear in Table 19 written by the Duplass brothers as well as the adaptation of The Girl on the Train starring Emily Blunt. She is repped by CAA.
Oswalt also lent his voice to the animated feature Nerdland which bowed at the Tribeca Film Festival as well as an episode of the Netflix series BoJack Horseman He can be seen next in James Ponsoldt’s adaptation of the Dave Eggers novel The Circle and the comedy FML with T.J. Miller. He is repped by UTA and Generate.
