Joe Carnahan is in talks to direct SUGAR BANDITS, the adaptation of Chuck Hogan’s book “Devils in Exile”.
Hogan wrote the script for the film, which centers on an Iraq vet who joins a gang of veterans in a vigilante crusade to rip off drug dealers.
Andrew Laurenl, Daniel Pipski and Marc Shmuger will produce.
Carnahan has directed the action-thrillers “Smokin’ Aces”, “The A-Team” and “The Grey” so this project should be right up his alley. He is also currently in pre-production on the Patrick Wilson film “Stretch”.
He is repped by CAA.
