Joel Edgerton is in talks for the A24 thriller IT COMES AT NIGHT. Written and helmed by Krishna director Trey Edward Shults, the film centers on a father who is hellbent on protecting his family from an evil and mysterious presence tormenting their house. David Kaplan at A24 is set to produce.
Edgerton is garnering some early Oscar buzz for his role in Jeff Nichols’s Loving in which he stars opposite Ruth Negga. The two play real-life interracial couple Richard and Mildred Loving who were sentenced to prison in Virginia for getting married. He also recently starred in the critically acclaimed Midnight Special also directed by Nichols and is currently filming the drama American Express with Charlize Theron.
He is repped by CAA, Shanahan Management, and Markham, Froggatt, and Irwin.
