John Leguizamo will join Bryan Cranston in THE INFILTRATOR. Based on the autobiography by Robert Mazur, the thriller centers on Mazur, a federal agent who spent five years undercover as a money launderer to gain access to a criminal underworld safguarded by dirty bankers and businessmen. Brad Furman is directing from a script penned by Ellen Brown Furman.
Leguizamo is usually known for his comedic roles in Moulin Rouge!, Ice Age, and Kick-Ass 2, but he’s just as able to let his dramatic side take over in films like Die Hard 2, The Happening, and The Lincoln Lawyer. Most recently, Leguizamo starred in Jon Favreau’s indie comedy Chef and will next appear in John Wick, the action/comedy American Ultra, and Reed Morano’s drama Meadowland.
