Johnny Knoxville has been cast to star alongside Jackie Chan in the upcoming action/comedy SKIPTRACE. Knoxville will play a talkative American gambler who teams up with Chan’s character as they work to rescue Chan’s niece from a dangerous criminal. The role was previously set to be played by Sean William Scott, known for his role as Steve Stifler in the “American Pie” franchise.
Knoxville is known most notably for his involvement in the “Jackass” franchise including “Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa.” Most recently, Knoxville voiced Leonardo in Jonathan Liebesman’s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.” Upcoming, Knoxville is set to star in Renée Zellweger’s “4 1/2 Minutes,” a comedy about a comedian who takes up a babysitting job.
