Jon Bass is the latest to join the wave of actors in the BAYWATCH movie. The Big Time in Hollywood, FL actor will star alongside Dwayne Johnson in the big screen adaptation of the popular ’90s TV show.
Bass is set to play Ronnie, a funny, awkward and a skilled disco dancer who develops a crush on the character of C.J. Parker, who will be played by Kelly Rohrbach. The cast also includes Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, and Ilfenesh Hadera.
Seth Gordon is set to direct while Johnson and his partner Dany Garcia will produce with Beau Flynn and Ivan Reitman. Damian Shannon and Mark Swift wrote the most recent draft of the script. Tom Pollock, Greg Bonnan, Michelle Berk, Michael Berk, Doug Schwartz and Tripp Vinson will all serve as executive producers. Production is expected to start within the next couple of months.
He can be seen next in The Runaround with J.K. Simmons, Taran Killam, Analeigh Tipton, and Kristen Schaal. He is also filming Loving opposite Joel Edgerton and Michael Shannon. His TV credits include House of Lies, The Newsroom, and Girls.
