Based on Matthew Quick’s novel of the same name, the film will follow four individuals all considered outsiders by society, who are brought together while grieving over losses in their life. If everything goes well, Dayton and Faris will helm from a script penned by “The School of Rock” scribe Mike White.
Dayton and Faris both most recently helmed “Ruby Sparks” which starred Paul Dano and Zoe Kazan. Besides “The Good Luck of Right Now”, the pair are attached to direct “Used Guys”, “The Big Cigar” and “I’m Proud of You.” Dayton and Faris are repped by UTA.
