Jonny Lee Miller and Jim Sturgess have both entered talks to star alongside an impressive cast already consisting of Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Natalie Portman, Hugo Weaving and Jim Broadbent amongst others. The film, which is written and set to be directed by Tom Tykwer and the Wachowskis, is set to go before the lens this Fall. The pitch for the project already flashes before your eyes when you read of the trio set to step behind the camera, and read it aloud: “The Story is a time-shifting kaleidoscopic – weaving six interlinking narratives, with diverse settings from the savagery of a Pacific Island in the 1850s to a dystopian Korea of the near future.”
Miller, who was last seen in a recurring star role in the TV series “Dexter”, is currently filming “Dark Shadows” alongside Johnny Depp. Meanwhile, Sturgess who was last seen in “The Way Back”, has a handful of films set for release, including the upcoming Anne Hathaway-starring “One Day”.
Miller is repped by IFA Talent Agency, Sturgess by ICM.
