Joseph Julian Soria joins the cast of Boaz Yakin’s MAX. The project centers on a military dog who returns from active service in Afghanistan traumatized by his handler’s death. Erratic and dangerous, Max is adopted by the bereaved family and bonds with the marine’s troubled 14-year old brother. Josh Wiggins will star as the teenage brother while Lauren Graham plays his mother. Soria will play Emilio, a gangster who crosses paths with the dog, Max.
Soria is most well known for his role as Hector Cruz on “Army Wives” but his other credits include roles in “Fast and Furious” and “Crank: High Voltage.” He will next appear in Jason Friedberg’s comedy “Superfast” and action flick “An Angel’s Story.”
