Kenneth Branagh’s MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS has added to the all-star cast. The film is an adaptation of the classic Agatha Christie novel.

In the film, while a train is stopped by deep snow, famous Belgian detective Hercule Poirot is enlisted to solve the murder of a man who was killed in his car the night before.

Gad joins previously cast Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Daisy Ridley, Michael Pena, and Judi Dench. Branagh is starring as Poirot in addition to directing. Gad has been cast as Hector McQueen, a skittish man who drinks too much and works as an assistant/translator for Depp’s character.

Gad can be seen in the highly anticipated live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast as Le Fou opposite Emma Watson as Belle. He has previously starred in the FX series The Comedians opposite Billy Crystal and lent his voice to Disney’s Frozen and the upcoming A Dog’s Purpose from DreamWorks.

He is repped by and Lighthouse.
