Jude Law is in talks to play the villain in Guy Ritchie’s KNIGHTS OF THE ROUND TABLE. If cast, Law would join Charlie Hunnam who has been cast as Arthur and Astrid Berges-Frisbey, who is playing Guinevere. Ritchie is directing for Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow from a script penned by Joby Harold. The project is part of a planned 6-part franchise.
Law and Richie have worked together before on the Warner Bros. adaptation of Sherlock Holmes and Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. Since then, Law has starred in Joe Wright’s Anna Karenina, Steven Soderbergh’s Side Effects, and Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel. Next up, Law has been cast in Michael Grandage’s drama Genius and Paul Feig’s comedy Spy alongside Melissa McCarthy, Rose Byrne, and Jason Statham.
