Julie Ann Emery and Jeremy Shamos have both signed on to star in AMC’s BETTER CALL SAUL. The Breaking Bad spin-off follows the rise of small time seedy lawyer Saul Goodman six years before he meets the now infamous Walter White. Bob Odenkirk is back as Saul, while Emery and Shamos will play Betsy and Craig Kettleman, the world’s squarest outlaws. They join Michael McKean, Rhea Seehorn, Patrick Fabian, and Michael Mando. Jonathan Banks is reprising his role as the cranky but ruthless Mike Ehrmantraut.
Emery is known for her roles in the rom-com Hitch, Elizabeth Banks’ comedy Movie 43, and for playing Ida Thurman in the FX reboot series Fargo. Emery has also been cast in the upcoming comedy Mean Cuisine. Shamos has had short stints on TV series like Damages, Fringe, and The Good Wife and has also appeared in Taking Woodstock, The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby, and Woody Allen’s Magic in the Moonlight. Most recently, Shamos appeared in Alejandro González Iñárritu’s Birdman.
