Oscar-nominated actress Juliette Lewis has joined the cast of Sam Taylor-Johnson’s adaptation of James Frey’s book A MILLION LITTLE PIECES, the Tracking Board has exclusively learned.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson is set to star alongside Billy Bob Thornton, Carla Juri, Charlie Hunnam, Giovanni Ribisi and David Dastmalchian.
The story follows a drug-addled writer who enters a treatment center in Minnesota. Lewis’ role is being kept under wraps, but her casting bolsters an already-strong ensemble.
Pamela Abdy is producing for Makeready along with with Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman of The Picture Company. Makeready is also fully financing the film. Sierra/Affinity is handling international sales for the eOne project.
Lewis has starred in some of my favorite films, from Cape Fear and Natural Born Killers to Strange Days and From Dusk Till Dawn. She’s represented by UTA, Troika, Untitled Entertainment.

I am so excited that my daughter is making this movie to make people aware of the drug problem. Pam, I’m so proud.
