Barkhad Abdi, Mike Birbiglia, Jon Glaser, Vanessa Bayer, John Cena, Ezra Miller, and Tilda Swinton are all in talks or negotiations to join Judd Apatow’s TRAINWRECK.
Apataow will be directing Amy Schumer, Bill Hader, Brie Larson, and any number of the above names from a script penned by Shumer. Although the plot is being kept under wraps we know that it is about a basket case (Schumer, if you’ll allow me an educated guess) who is trying to rebuild her life.
This will be Abdi’s first major role since receiving his Oscar nomination for “Captain Phillips.” Bayer is still a cast member “Saturday Night Live.” Birbiglia will be making appearances in “The Fault in Our Stars,” “Annie” and “Sleepwalk With Me.” Miller can be seen next in “Madame Bovary.” While Glaser will be showing up on “Girls” and “Parks and Recreation.” Swinton can currently be seen in “The Grand Budapest Hotel.”
