Justin Bartha, Olivia Thirlby and Constance Zimmer are set to star in Amy Redford’s PHOENIX. The romantic comedy follows two hopeless-romantic strangers on a road trip from Brooklyn to Phoenix after a one-night-stand.
Bartha is best known as “Wolfpack” member Doug in the “Hangover” franchise and as Riley Poole in the “National Treasure” films. He also starred in Fox’s short lived comedy “The New Normal.”
You’ll remember Thirlby as Leah, the loudmouthed but supportive best friend in “Juno.” She also appeared in action/sci-fi “Dredd” and in the Courteney Cox helmed dramedy “Just Before I Go.” Thirlby’s upcoming projects include crime/drama “The White Orchid” with Jennifer Beals and comedy “The Wedding Ringer” starring Josh Gad and Kevin Hart.
Zimmer is best known for her TV roles in “Entourage” as Dana Gordon, in “The Newsroom” as Taylor Warren and in “House of Cards” as Janine Skorsky. She will next appear in the USA Network hospital drama “Complications” and will reprise her role as Dana Gordon in the “Entourage” movie.
