The cast of Woody Allen’s upcoming fall movie is starting to take shape with pop star/actor Justin Timberlake and actress Juno Temple joining the yet-to-be-titled project starring Kate Winslet and James Belushi.
Story details about the project have been kept under wraps, but it will be a ensemble period drama set in New York during the ’50s. In addition to writing and directing, Allen will also produce with longtime collaborators Letty Aronson, Erika Aronson, and Edward Walson. No word yet on who will be distributing the film. In the past, Allen has worked with Sony Pictures Classics until recently when he collaborated with Amazon Studios for Cafe Society starring Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart, which opened the Cannes Film Festival. Allen is also producing his first yet-to-be-titled television series for Amazon starring himself, Miley Cyrus, and Elaine May.
Timberlake recently appeared in the Lonely Island mockumentary Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping. His voice can be heard in the upcoming animated feature Trolls, which also stars Anna Kendrick.
Temple recently appeared in the HBO series Vinyl. Her most recent film credits include high profile drama Black Mass and Far from the Madding Crowd. She can be seen next in the upcoming drama The Most Hated Woman in America with Melissa Leo, Adam Scott, and Josh Lucas.
Timberlake is repped by WME, Johnny Wright, and LBI Entertainment.
Temple is repped by Troika and UTA.
