Kate Mara will star in MORGAN. Directed by Luke Scott, Ridley Scott’s son, the sci-fi thriller centers on a corporate risk-management consultant who is called to a remote research lab to determine whether or not to terminate an at-risk artificial being. The Elder Scott is producing with his Scott Free compatriots Elishia Holmes and Michael Schaefer. Anya Taylor-Joy has also joined the cast.
Mara has taken over the role of Sue Storm (aka The Invisible Woman) in the Fantastic Four reboot. She is also starring in the Ridley Scott-directed sci-fi pic The Martian with Jessica Chastain and Matt Damon. Her other credits include 127 Hours, Shooter, and Iron Man 2. She is repped by UTA.
Taylor-Joy made her feature film debut in The Witch, Robert Eggers’ period horror about a family living in New England in 1630. She is repped by Toika in the U.K.
