Kate McKinnon, Jillian Bell, and Ilana Glazer have been added to the cast of Sony’s Scarlett Johansson-led comedy, formerly known as Move That Body.
The movie, which is tentatively titled ROCK THAT BODY, was co-written by Paul W. Downs and Lucia Aniello – both of whom have collaborated with Glazer on Broad City. Aniello will also direct while Downs is set to star. The duo will also produce under their Paulilu production banner alongside Matt Tolmach and Dave Becky.
The movie tells the story of five friends who head to Miami for a bachelorette weekend that ends up going completely out of control.
McKinnon is currently a cast member on Saturday Night Live. She can be seen next in Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters reboot alongside Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, and Leslie Jones. She is currently filming the holiday ensemble comedy, Office Christmas Party. She is repped by UTA.
Bell currently stars in TV’s Workaholics and Idiotsitter. Her recent film credits include in The Night Before and Goosebumps. She can also be seen in the forthcoming Office Christmas Party and heard in the animated feature The Angry Birds Movie. She is repped by UTA.
Glazer produces, writes and stars in Broad City with Abbi Jacobson. She also wrote and starred in the Comedy Central mini-series Time Traveling Bong. She is repped by Susie Fox and UTA.
