Bad Moms star Kathryn Hahn is looking taking a dramatic turn in the Netflix drama PRIVATE LIFE. She is in negotiations to star as an author who is undergoing multiple fertility therapies to get pregnant, putting the relationship between her and her husband on edge.
Tamara Jenkins, whose previous work includes Savages and Slums of Beverly Hills is set to write and direct the film. Anthony Bregman will produce alongside Stefanie Azpiazu. The film is currently looking for a male lead to play Hahn’s character’s husband, a theater producer and owner of a business called The Pickle Guys who is stressed out from trying to help his wife get pregnant. At one point, Zach Galifianakis was eyeing the role.
It was recently announced that Hahn will return alongside Mila Kunis and Kristen Bell for a Bad Moms sequel. She recently appeared in Captain Fantastic and can be seen next in the dramedy Flower. She also has a recurring role on the Peabody Award-winning Amazon series Transparent.
